Our Mission
End the cycle of homelessness by encouraging, equipping, and empowering the women and children residents of Gabriel’s House.
Encourage
We help homeless women and their children to know and experience hope—hope for healing and a better life.
Equip
We provide women tools and support for leading healthy and productive independent lives. We offer coaching, mentoring, and life skills training.
Empower
We encourage women to wholeness through education and activities designed to give them strength for life’s challenges.

Director Tammy Duff invites you to visit Gabriel’s House for a House Tour!
Call or email us to arrange a personal tour for you, your family, church group or business colleagues. Tammy and her team would love to show you around to give you a full picture of the Gabriel’s House program and its unique approach to providing hope and help to homeless women and children. Gabriel’s House is not a cold, institutional shelter. Gabriel’s House is a home where residents can heal, grow, and receive caring guidance to take steps towards independent living. Call us at (805) 487-3400 or email your request to [email protected].
On Saturday, February 21, we hosted a Donor Appreciation Breakfast at Gabriel’s House. This is our chance to get to know donors better in an intimate, relaxed setting.
On Sunday, December 14, we enjoyed a joyful Christmas Open House. There were holiday treats, caroling, gifts for the children, and fellowship between residents, volunteers, staff, and some of our supporters!
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who attended the Gabriel’s House Harvest of Lights Gala Dinner Auction on October 16 at Spanish Hills Country Club. It was a success because of you!
