This year’s Christmas Open House was a warm and festive time, uniting donors, volunteers, mentors, residents, past residents, families of residents, and special guests interested in learning more about Gabriel’s House. Our program opened with a skit from the residents called, A Gift for Baby Jesus. Then one of our young adult residents sang “Mary Did you Know?” and the children joined in to sing more Christmas carols. Pastor Sam shared an encouraging message to the residents and all our guests. Of course, we had delicious holiday foods—this year prepared by our own Chef Tina! We also saw our residents open one of their gifts, which were beautiful blankets just in time for winter. Finally, Santa and Mrs. Claus arrived with their helpers to pass out gifts while we sang more carols. It was a very special night of celebrating the greatest gift of all, Jesus Christ.
Thank you to everyone who generously gave to provide our women and children with such a special holiday celebration. From all of us at Gabriel’s House, Merry Christmas to you and yours!
We are grateful to all our champions who attended the Garden Party on Saturday, April 25. Many of our guests signed up to become monthly partners, giving a recurring donation. Others increased their current monthly donations. These consistent gifts help us to plan our budget to meet the 24/7 needs of our residents at risk
On Saturday, February 21, we hosted a Donor Appreciation Breakfast at Gabriel’s House. This is our chance to get to know donors better in an intimate, relaxed setting.
On Sunday, December 14, we enjoyed a joyful Christmas Open House. There were holiday treats, caroling, gifts for the children, and fellowship between residents, volunteers, staff, and some of our supporters!
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who attended the Gabriel’s House Harvest of Lights Gala Dinner Auction on October 16 at Spanish Hills Country Club. It was a success because of you!
